I've had this small netbook for a couple of week currently, and it's precisely right for our purposes: email, browsing, YouTube, MiniClip games, and word processing. It comes with workplace 2010 starter (just word and excel) that is all we'd like. i am not a techie and haven't any specifics to share, however this factor simply WORKS. Right out of the box, you pay ten minutes putting in, charge it up, and go. the primary time you employ workplace you would like to put in it. I followed the advice of another reviewers and (1) uninstalled some bloatware it came with (Acer games, NY Times Reader) and (2) put in Chrome and created it the default browser. IE was taking forever to load something, however Chrome is way lighter and works perfectly. and therefore the wireless is impressive-- it works even approach down the long slender hallway in my thick-brick-walls 1850's dwelling from where the router is placed-- our recent Vaio could not handle it.
